Gold – a serious business

For some reason, most of the worlds gold wrought rather unimaginative. It is often hard tradition bound, predictable, and next to confusion as to the design. It is as if the materials high value attracts designers to confuse seriousness with gravity. Sandberg wants to challenge it with deep seriousness, by affirm playfulness and creativity.

Pia & Per - Yin & Yang

Sandberg's high quality occurs in the symbiosis between a completely free-thinking product designers and a strict trained goldsmith masters: Pia Artling and Per Davik, both internationally qualified in their respective disciplines. Pia challenge Per. By challenging Pia. And everything they do together are stamped with a small turtle - the symbol of a long and happy life.

Sandberg has some sixty dealers in Sweden and Norway. In Japan, the Turtle is a beloved symbol of "a long and happy life" and is spread by Sandberg Japan Ltd., which primarily operate in Tokyo.
